Alice (Sissy) Maloney Biasotti of New Windsor, NY was called home to her Lord and Savior on October 10, 2026 with her family at her side. She was 91 years old.

Alice was born on December 26, 1934 at Cornwall Hospital but spent most all of her life in the town she loved, New Windsor. She grew up on St. Joseph’s Place with her parents, Thomas and Alice Maloney (nee Smith) and her beloved brother, Thomas. She was surrounded by too many wonderful cousins to name.

She attended St. Patrick Elementary School and upon graduating she attended Holy Name Academy in Albany before returning to New Windsor and graduating high school from Newburgh Free Academy (NFA '52). She then went on to study nursing in Manhattan where she met the love of her life, Charles Biasotti.

Alice and Charles were married on August 2, 1953 at St. Patrick's Church in Newburgh and went on to raise their family of five children in New Windsor.

Alice worked as a Customer Service Representative for Sears Catalog Center in New Windsor before being promoted to manager of the Cashier, Credit and Customer Service Department at the Sears Store at the Newburgh Mall. After 20 years at Sears she left to take a position at Bell's Ethan Allen Gallery, Town of Newburgh and she loved working there. After her retirement she didn’t stop, she decided to run for the New Windsor Town Council where she served for four terms as a Councilwoman, a position in which she took great pride and joy.

Raising five children and working wasn't enough for Alice so she also volunteered for numerous non-profits and serve on many town committees. She was a lector and Eucharistic minister at St Joseph's Church in New Windsor and at Sacred Heart Church in Newburgh. She was a long time Trustee for the National Temple Hill Association which is dedicated to preserving the Revolutionary War History in New Windsor and the surrounding area and served as a tour guide at the Historic Edmondston House and the Last Encampment of the Continental Army Parklands in the town. She proudly served as Vice-Regent for The Catholic Daughters of America where she has been a member for thirty two years.

Alice was predeceased by her husband, Charles, her parents, Thomas and Alice Maloney, her brother, Thomas Maloney and his wife, Jean, her brother in law, Robert Biasotti and his wife, Kay Biasotti, whom she always called her œsister.

Alice is survived by her five children, Nancy Biasotti, Michael Biasotti (Barbara), Kathleen Gengo (John), Eileen Biasotti Filiciotto, and Gregory Biasotti. Alice was blessed and called “Nanny by her fifteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Alice cherished Pat Mullarkey, our mother's dear friend since elementary school who showed unwavering friendship, loyalty, and counsel and gave her many memories of good times spent together throughout her life.

In respect for her many years of service to the community, in lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made in her name to either Sacred Heart Church Out Reach Center at 301 Ann Street, Newburgh, NY 12550 or to the National Temple Hill Association, PO Box 315, Vails Gate, NY 12584 for the restoration of the Historic Edmonston House. - December 26, 1934 ~ October 10, 2026

A visitation will be held on Sunday October 18, 2026 at Brooks Funeral Home 481 Gidney Ave, Newburgh from 1pm to 3pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday October 19, 2026 at Sacred Heart Church 301 Ann St, begining 10 AM. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in New Windsor.
