Jack Lessie Belue, born November 3, 1947, in Newburgh, New York, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2026, in Statesville, North Carolina, at the age of 78.

Jack was a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather. He graduated from Newburgh Academy High School in 1967 and built a life marked by hard work and dedication. Throughout his career, Jack worked at a cement company and later at Lydech Thermal in Hamptonville, North Carolina, where he contributed to the manufacturing of car parts. A man of many interests, Jack enjoyed participating on a bowling team and had a deep love for fishing. He found great joy in watching karate tournaments, especially when cheering on his son in competition. Beyond these passions, Jack treasured spending time with his beloved dog, Chloe, and delighting in playful moments with his grandchildren.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Lessie Darrell Belue and Gilda Domenicucci Belue. He is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Dawn Merry Belue; their three daughters, Dawn Carpenter, Stacy Puetz, and Jessica Belue; six grandchildren, Christopher Belue, Alischa Belue, Cassandra Belue, Jace Belue, and step-grandchildren Sheral Carpenter and Steven Carpenter; as well as five great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Mars, Aden Mars, Riley Mars, Keagan Belue, and Aaron Belue. He also leaves behind many dear friends across New York, North Carolina, and Florida who will remember him fondly.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at South River Baptist Church, with Dr. Chris Thompson officiating. Family, friends, and all who knew Jack are invited to gather to honor his memory and celebrate a life well lived.

Jack Lessie Belue's legacy of kindness, dedication, and love will remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him.
