The sad news of Joan's passing just reached me today. She and her husband Norm, known as almost extensions of our own family due to their wonderful and giving personalities to all of us, were known for years as "Greenie" and "Reedie", and both were graduates of the NFA Class of 1944...as was my late sister, Barbara "Bunny" Wilson Flemming who along with Norm will have welcomed her on the Class of 1944 Memorial page here. I only wish that I could have better sustained the vibrant communication we had enjoyed with each other for the past 20 years.
