Marullo, Anthony Lambert know by all as "Tony" was born August 3, 1966 and
passed away suddenly on December 20, 2014. He was 48. A lifelong resident
of Newburgh NY, Tony worked for 21 years at Price Chopper
Supermarket(Market 32) in the town of Newburgh. A family statement read
that "Tony was a beautiful light in our family and now we feel in
darkness. His compassion and goodwill for all living creatures despite
their fragilities was beyond measure. He managed to see past all the dust,
and rust - the dirt and filth and see the beauty beyond" A memorial
website has been established in his honor at Forever missed.com for
tributes and more information and his family would appreciate any stories,
photos or remembrances to be placed there. Tony was a regular donor to the
Town of Newburgh Animal Shelter. Selfless even in death, he was an organ
donor and nearly 100 people will be blessed because of his gift. He leaves
behind his heart-broken family: mother, Lucille Peroni of Newburgh, NY;
brother, John J. Marullo Jr. and wife, Ana Marullo of California; sisters:
Laura E. Gilmore of Arizona and Roberta M. Kratochwil and husband, David
Kratochwil of Newburgh, NY; beautiful nieces, Stephanie Gilmore and
Jessica Gilmore and amazing nephew Cole Marullo. Dozens of aunts, uncles
and cousins. He was a such great friend to so many, one cannot count them.
Tony was pre-deceased by his father, John J. Marullo Sr. and his brother,
in law Gary F. Gilmore. Laura, his com padre, sidekick and the mate to his
soul is our dearest consolation in that Tony had found true love and knew
such joy and happiness before he left us. Visitation will be held from 2
