Daley, Kate Helene of Newburgh, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2006
at 12:45 p.m., after battling a lifelong illness with grace and courage.
Her spirit soared to join her twin sister Kelly. The two brightest lights
are joined as one brilliant eternal flame. She was 27. Daughter of
Christopher Daley and Nancy Kissam Daley, she was born on February 20,
1979 in Newburgh. Kelly graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mount St. Mary
College, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. She is survived by
her loving parents, Christopher and Nancy of Newburgh; maternal
grandmother, Helen Kissam of Newburgh; paternal grandmother, Catherine
Daley of Marlboro; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and extraordinary
nurses. She was predeceased by her sister, Kelly Daley; and her
grandfathers, John C. Daley and George Kissam. Memorial visitation will be
held from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2006 at the Brooks Funeral
Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A Memorial Service will be take place at
10 a.m. on Friday, December 1, 2006 in Ebenezer Baptist Church, 76 First
St., Newburgh. Burial of ashes will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery,
Newburgh. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 6,
2006 at 7 p.m. at the Founders Chapel (Guzman Hall) at Mount Saint Mary
College. It was Kate's wish that no flowers be sent to her funeral. In
lieu of flowers, you may make a donation in her name to, Friends of Kate
and Kelly, Association for Care and Cure of Victims of Epidermolysis

In November 2006 Kelly and Kate Daley lost their battle with EB. They were
wonderful girl who will be missed by every heart they touched. We hope
you're perfect and healthy and happy in heaven..... Love your friends.

Kelly Daley's spirit soared home to peace. She was 27. Daughter of
Christopher Daley and Nancy Kissam Daley, she was born on February 20,
1979 in Newburgh. Kelly graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mount St. Mary
College, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. She was also a
winner of the Elie Weisel Essay Contest. She is survived by her loving
parents, Christopher and Nancy of Newburgh; her sister, Kate Daley of
Newburgh; maternal grandmother, Helen Kissam of Newburgh; paternal
grandmother, Catherine Daley of Marlboro; many loving aunts, uncles,
cousins, and extraordinary nurses. She was predeceased by her

Jeffrey Alan - Class of 1996 - Rose Cadden - 1986
Reistad, Jeffrey Alan of the Town of Newburgh, passed away peacefully on
Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at home. He was 30. The son of Dennis and Janet
Hansen Reistad, he was born October 21, 1977 in Newburgh. "Jeff's
personality was that of a gentle, caring person with a very giving nature.
He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone whenever needed. He
will be missed by all who knew him and will be welcomed in heaven by his
grandmother, Cora." Jeff attended Newburgh schools and graduated from
Newburgh Free Academy. He was the owner of "Relax and Call Jeff"
landscaping; and a 15 year member of the Dan Leghorn Engine Co., currently
serving as Lieutenant. He was also an active member of Black Rock Fish and
Game Club, where he and his father shared their mutual passion for hunting
and fishing. He is survived by his loving parents at home; loving sisters,
Jenee Bailey and her husband, Chris of Pine Bush and Denise Carpenter and
her husband, Ben of San Francisco, CA; and many uncles, aunts, cousins and
friends. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, April 4, at
Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh, NY 12550. A funeral
service will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, in the funeral
home, with Rev. Thomas Hendricks officiating. Cremation will follow at
Cedar Hill Crematory. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeff's memory may
