Amen, Camille Nucifore Antonucci, born May 10, 1940 to Anthony and Ida
Nucifore Amen. She was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy. She worked for
Club Kids Children Clothing Store and other jobs and her last job was at
the Dominican Sister of Hope in their Development Office. Camille was a
member of St. Joseph's Church, New Windsor, NY. Camille was a causality of
Breast Cancer. She had a wonderful doctor at NYU Medical Center his name
was Matthew Volm, Professor at NYU and a Doctor of Oncology. He cared for
Camille as though she was a member of his family. He too is a miracle
worker and between both of them Camille lived a total of 9-years, since
first diagnosed in June 2000 with Cancer. The first 5-years Camille was
tumor free then she became immune to all her drugs. Camille leaves behind
her husband, Primo; son, Michael and wife, Joanne and boys Nicholas,
Vincent and Michael; her son, Thomas; her daughter, Jennifer Krajeski and
her husband, George and kids, George and Madison; sister, Roseann and her
husband, Quentin Welsh, whom all loved Camille. I know all my children
will miss Camille's cooking. "A Tribute to Camille from her Husband, The
year was 1943 and I was seven years old when one summer day a tall man
with a mustache came by my street walking a baby carriage and in it was a
cute little girl and she had to be three years old. At this time I was
seven years old and the little girl for some reason impressed me. I never
thought eighteen years later, me being twenty-five and she at age
twenty-one would be married. In 1943 I lived on South William Street and
she on William Street around the corner from my home. In the years in
between we led separate lives until one June night in 1960 we met at the
Elm Brook restaurant/bar and a romance began. We married in October 1961.
From this point on I knew I married a saint because she performed three
miracles, Michael, Thomas and Jennifer in turn these three miracles
performed five miracles Nicholas, Vincent, Michael, George and Madison.
Thomas is a special miracle of his own. God could not have done better. My
wife and I over our 46-years of marriage have seen many hard times, as
well as good times. In all we had a wonderful life. We had our arguments
and disagreements but because of our love for each other we mended our
differences. This was another miracle she performed. Over these years I
worked for the Ford Motor Company for 21-years and the plant closed. With
three miracles at home I had no time to feel bad for myself. I relied on
my brother Ralph to use his influence to obtain employment for me at IBM.
I worked for IBM for 15-years and IBM fell upon hard times, so they
decided to downsize. Again I was faced with providing for my three little
miracles at home. I had no time to feel bad for myself and worked several
jobs in between IBM and my last employer Macbeth Division of Kollmorgen,
later known as GretagMacBeth, who incidentally dismantled the Company and
sold it off and finally closed in November of 2006. I retired from
GretagMacbeth in 2003. All through these years my wife performed miracles
with the budget, house cleaning, caring for our three miracles and as they
graduated school she went to work to help with our finances. Never once
did she ever complain that she was burdened. When Thomas our second
miracle came, he was diagnosed as having Cerebral Palsy she devoted
herself to helping him without making Michael and Jennifer feel left out
of her life. Camille loved her children so much in so many ways and some
how I feel she will make her presence know to them in the years to come.
Camille truly was a saint in so many ways literally, I believe she was
elevated to the position of and dubbed angel and she earned her wings. For
those who never met Camille Antonucci missed a wonderful experience. For
those who knew Camille knew of her strength, caring and helpful daily
attitude and will certainly be missed. I most of all will miss the saint
and angel that kept me safe in her heart and arms for those many years.
Camille my saint is gone to a better place and someday I hope the year
1943 will return and the big man with a mustache, walking the carriage
will appear and we can start ove r again. This would be the greatest
miracle of all. Her loving husband, Primo Antonucci." Visitation will be
held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, at Brooks Funeral Home,
481 Gidney, Ave., Newburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated
at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 17, at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Newburgh.

Kaminsky,
Joan Cornell, who lived in Bossier City, LA and at the age of 74 died on
November 4th, 2014, was a woman of many talents. For a time she was an
avid bowler, enjoying both the game and the banter with friends she made
along the way. She was a Master Craftsman of crochet and knitting,
creating hats, scarves, sweaters, blankets and all sorts of useful
clothing and art for generations of family, friends and for those in need.
She was an extraordinary home cook and baker. And though she created
hundreds of unique and tasty dishes that family and friends enjoyed each
day, it was her magnificent holiday spreads that amazed and delighted. The
memories of each meal she created left indelible prints on all who partook
of them. Cancer took Joan's mortal life, but her faith in Jesus Christ
assures her eternal life love lives on in the hearts and minds of those
who survive her. Joan was born on January 4, 1940 in Cornwall, NY to the
late Samuel Maxwell Kaminsky, a World War I veteran who died while helping
build ships in support of the United States World War II efforts, and the
late Josephine Weiner Kaminsky. She is survived by her sister, Harriet
Marilyn Kaminsky Calli; her niece, Sheryl Calli Palen and her nephews:
Bobby and Frank Calli. She was preceded in death by her other sister,
Shirley Sarah Kaminsky Calli. Raised in Newburgh, N.Y., Joan attended
Grand Street School, South Jr. High School, and Newburgh Free Academy,
where she graduated in 1958. Like many who lived in that place and time,
Joan grew up hard and fast, especially after her father died when she was
three years old. She learned to cook, clean, and care for other children
as everyone in the family did what they could to help each other and to
survive. Through these lessons she learned what it meant to not simply be
frugal, but to appreciate what God had given her regardless of
circumstances: life, health, family, friends and a tenderness for those in
need. It was on December 30, 1958 that Joan Kaminsky married her lifelong
love, Franklin (Frank) Reynolds Cornell in the United Methodist Church in
Gardnertown, NY by the late Reverend Joseph Bailey. Joan first met Frank
when they were two and were neighbors. But at four she moved away when her
dad passed. It was in God's good grace and wisdom that He reunited them as
teens. From that time on, she spent her life with Frank building a love
and a family that endured every test and every trial. A love that was true
to the words they shared together often: More Than Yesterday, Less Than
Tomorrow, or MTY-LTT. Even to her last, her love for Frank never stopped
growing. Over the years Joan worked many jobs to support her family: WT
Grants, Miles Shoes, New York Bell, Woolworth, USAF BX, USAF Commissary,
and Civil Service. But mostly she worked for Cornell Plumbing Super Rooter
and helped start up and build what became a very thriving business, thanks
in large part to her dedication and business acumen. Throughout her life
Joan lived primarily on the east coast and in the south U.S., including
New York, New Jersey, Maine and Louisiana as the USAF moved her family
from place to place. But it was in Louisiana that she made her final home.
Joan is survived by her husband, Franklin Reynolds Cornell and her five
children: Franklin Reynolds Cornell Jr., Shareena Joan Cornell, Shelley
Dianne Cornell Warren, Glenn Paul Cornell and Keith Alan Cornell, in
addition to 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Visitation will
be on Saturday November 8, 2014 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the Hill Crest
Memorial Chapel in Haughton, Louisiana. Funeral service on Saturday
November 8, 2014 at 11:00 am.
